Trimalleolar Ankle Fracture

Pre-operative xrays demonstrating weber C distal fibula fracture signifying deltoid ligament and syndesmosis disruption. The double density on the AP xray is significant for posteromedial distal tibia fracture.

Post-operative xrays demonstrating anatomic repair of the ankle using anatomic plating system and ligament repair. The deltoid ligament was repaired with suture anchors. The syndesmosis was fixated with the use of Arthrex TightRope and InternalBrace ligament reconstruction system.
